Kate Mulgrew Official Website Blog

Amid rumblings of Live Journal disappearing, I’ve decided to start a blog on WordPress with all the latest Kate news and Totally Kate site updates.

I’m working on importing previous entries from Live Journal and I’ll be adding new posts to this blog.

This WordPress blog also has an RSS feed if you’d like to keep up with the news that way. It’s very easy to subscribe to RSS feeds from most browsers. If you are using Firefox click on the orange symbol to the right of the URL (if you hover your mouse over it you’ll see "subscribe to this page"). In Safari look for the RSS in blue to the right of the URL. In Internet Explorer look for the orange and white symbol somewhere on your toolbar (if you hover your mouse over it you’ll see "view feeds on this page").

Enjoy!

Kate Mulgrew Interview Coming Soon!

Hello,

I’d like to thank everyone for sending along some wonderful questions to ask Kate. I did the interview with Kate yesterday in her dressing room after the Saturday afternoon performance of EQUUS. I didn’t want to take up too much of Kate’s time but I hope I touched on quite a few of your questions. We spoke about EQUUS, Master Class, President Obama and various other topics. I’m quite pleased with the interview and the file is going to my transcriber who hopes to have it finished by next week so stay tuned!

I also attended the matinee of EQUUS yesterday. I had previously seen the play back in Sept. before it officially opened. While I enjoyed it then I thought it was even better this time. I think everyone has settled into their roles and it’s just an incredible play. So if you can get to the theater in the next two weeks, go see EQUUS!

And don’t forget to get your tickets to see Kate in Master Class. She is deep into research for the part and in fact is learning Italian. Maria Callas speaks a bit of Italian and French in the play. It sounds like a fabulous role for Kate. It’s one she couldn’t pass up even though she has just two days downtime between the end of EQUUS and the beginning of rehearsals for Master Class!

Questions for Kate

Do you have a question that you would like to see Kate answer in an interview? Preferably one that she hasn’t answered in numerous other interviews. If you were able to go to NYC to see EQUUS maybe you have a question about the play. If so e-mail your question to totallykate@gmail.com – please put ‘Question for Kate’ in the subject heading. In the next few weeks I hope to have Kate answer a few questions for the Totally Kate website and your question may be used.

Thanks!
